Congratulations on your admission to The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing! Welcome to the OU Nursing family.

All orientations are mandatory. 

Your first orientations are held virtually. Your second orientation will be held in person. All meeting details will be e-mailed to students. For any questions, please refer to the Student Affairs contact sheet below.

Where do I upload my renewed certifications?

On the Student Center To-Do List on Student Self Service.

Can I upload renewed certification from off-campus?
Yes.  However, students must register the DUO security authentication first.

My Self-Service shows I need documentation that I already submitted. What do I do?
If you're having difficulty uploading, please contact your Student Affairs campus contact.

How can I request a Letter of Good Standing?
Letter of Good Standing can be requested from Admissions & Records.

Additional Information

Student ID Cards: Please plan accordingly for obtaining your Student ID.
 
  • OKC campus:  Students will visit the OneCard Office at 865 Research Parkway, Room 240A. See campus map for directions. Student ID’s are $15.00.

  • Tulsa campus: OU Tulsa Student Services, Room 1C100. Student ID’s are $15.00. 

  • Lawton campus: Students will obtain two different ID’s - one for OUHSC and one for Cameron. OUHSC student ID pictures will be by the Student Affairs office. The cost is $15.00.  Obtain your Cameron ID when on campus. Cameron ID's are $30.

Follow campus-specific instructions. Passes will be needed on the first day of class. 

 

OKC students 
 
  • Completing this step online prior to pick up to expedite processing. You will need the following information: tag number, make/model, and VIN. 

  • Click on “First Time Online Registration”. 

  • The parking office is located in 825 Research Parkway, First Floor #115. 

  • Please visit the Parking website.

 
Tulsa students
 
  • Parking forms will be sent by email or can be found on the OU Tulsa website.

  • Take the completed form to Campus Security on the first floor of the Administration Building (south end).

  • There is no charge for the decals.

 
Lawton students
 
  • Parking decals may be purchased at the same location as your Cameron ID.

  • Scrub Vendor is Raley's Scrubs. Purchase online and in-store (Tulsa).
    • Scroll to the very bottom of the page to the “Preferred Groups – Click Here to Login”.
    • Create an Account “New Customer” – you will register with your OU email address.
    • Company Password is OU.
    • In the blue line at the top left of the page, you will see OU Nursing Uniform Store. Click here.
    • You will then see all of the approved uniform choices.
 

Enrollment Holds

There are times when an enrollment will not be processed due to an enrollment hold. The following are types of holds that could prevent enrollment from being processed:

Enrollment Forms

(Note: This enrollment form is for the professional programs only. Contact your student affairs representative with any questions.)

The Enrollment Form is a form-filled PDF document. You can begin by taking your cursor and clicking in a gray shaded area and begin typing. You need to complete the form in its entirety.

In the Student ID section, please do not use your social security number. The number you need to use is your (7) digit ID number that was given to you when you were admitted into the College.

GRADUATES/PROFESSIONAL/DOCTORAL

Before completing the Enrollment Form, please talk with your advisor. It is important that you have a current program plan on file with your advisor.

When completing the Enrollment Form, please make sure to complete all areas under the "Nursing Courses" section.

It is extremely important that you answer the following questions:

  • Leadership Pathway and Clinical Area
  • Campus

If you plan on taking a course at the Norman campus, please enter the course in the section titled "Norman Courses and/or Other Courses". It is your responsibility to make sure that you have completed all prerequisites for the course(s) and get permission from instructor if applicable.

We use the Enrollment Form to update our records. It is important for you to complete the campus question because that will determine the course section number you need to be enrolled in.
