1. Can the student see patients when I am not in the clinic setting? No, unless you have identified an appropriate preceptor with licensure and certification.
2. Can the student write prescriptions? No, the student does not have authority to write prescriptions.
3. What are the skills students are prepared to perform? Student skills preparation varies depending on the level of the course.
4. Do the students have liability insurance? Yes, professional liability of $1,000,000 (per occurrence) and 3,000,000 (aggregate). A copy of the policy is available upon request.
