Two undergraduate nursing students from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center's Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing took first and second prizes in the region-wide Undergraduate Student Poster Category. Both posters were Evidence-based literature reviews that were judged by their ability to communicate topic significance, theoretical basis, review methods and conclusions. Hunter Graham, a BSN senior and D.W. Reynolds Emerging Geriatric Leader, was 1st place winner for her poster "Health Literacy and Techniques for More Effective Patient Teaching of Older Adults." Alyssa Peterson, a BSN Junior, won 2nd place for her poster "Melatonin as an Intervention for Circadian Sleep Abnormalities in Dementia."
